About the Film:
A dystopian psychological drama where Winston Smith is imprisoned in the terrifying Ministry of Love, tortured for his thoughtcrimes and forbidden love, while fragmented memories of his relationship with Julia surface amidst relentless Party oppression.

Role Description:
Winston Smith, 39, is the protagonist of 1984. A weary, malnourished Outer Party member living in dystopian Oceania, his appearance reflects years of deprivation: rough skin, thin fair hair, and a hunched posture. Winston rewrites history for the Ministry of Truth, carrying deep inner conflict, fear, and suppressed rebellion.
We seek an actor capable of expressing emotional breakdown and resistance through subtle gestures and intense close-ups.

Requirements:

Male-presenting, late 30s

UK English accent

Ability to portray vulnerability, fatigue, and psychological tension

Comfortable with emotionally intense scenes
